This family is a special one, near and dear to my heart. We go back a few years…back before the days of married life and families. 
This session is probably the last time they take a family portrait before a family of four. I can’t wait to meet their newest addition arriving in just a few weeks!! (P.S. I find it so sweet that little Miss G totes her BFF teddy everywhere!)

This is my old childhood friend Charles. We met during our early teen years in the same martial arts class. And in my past life, before photography, we were martial arts instructors for the same school. Now he is excelling in what he does best and competing in CrossFit games regularly. Hats off to you, Mr. Charles…you’ve come a long way since the first time we met and it definitely shows.

I had the joy of photographing not one, not two, but 3 astounding and inspiring women. They have blown me away with their dedication, concentration and strength. We had to battle the cold, the wind, and a few other obstacles, but it was all totally worth it for these shots. A special thank you to our make-up artist, Tanya Llosa, who was with us all morning (and much earlier before I met up) and did an outstanding job with all the ladies.
